01 — Your groomer
A Pole living and grooming in Czechia
I’m a dog groomer from Poland who found her home in Ostrava thanks to love. Before grooming I had ten other jobs — dogs are where I stayed. I started from scratch in Czechia, and today I have clients who come back regularly and recommend me to others.
I care for dogs from puppyhood and groom them so the cut is not only pretty but practical. I love small and big dogs — fluffy giants especially.
If your dog gets stressed during grooming, message me. Sometimes it isn’t about the perfect cut, but about doing as much as the dog can handle at that moment.
For me, grooming isn’t just bathing, drying and handing the dog back. It’s a relationship between me and the dog — and trust between me and you.
I do what I love, and I love what I do.

Always learning
02 — Services
I don’t copy one universal cut. I adapt it to the dog’s head shape, coat type and age — even within the same breed.

A cut that looks good but, above all, is practical. We’ll agree on the details in person — and when you say “I’ll leave it to you”, I’m delighted.
Deep regeneration of skin and coat in an ozone bath.
Cosmetic teeth cleaning as an add-on to any groom.
+ 150 Kč add-on
For puppies: getting to know the salon, a first bath and getting used to the table.
Ozone therapy
A therapeutic bath with TAURO cosmetics and 30 minutes in an ozone bath. It helps soothe the skin, supports its regeneration and improves coat quality.
It includes a wrap: I mix cosmetics and oils to suit your dog, wrap them in a “cocoon” and let everything work in pleasant warmth.
03 — Puppy school
Puppies get used to touch, baths and blow-drying as something normal and safe. You can start after the last vaccination.
A short visit where your puppy can calmly sniff around the salon and get to know the place and me. The goal is a positive, stress-free first experience.
First bath, drying and brushing, a tidy-up around the eyes, paws and hygiene areas, a nail trim, and getting used to the table and clippers.
Bath, drying, brushing, a full haircut, nails and ears. Thanks to the earlier introduction, the visit is much calmer and more pleasant.
Most first visits with puppies go like this: they try everything to avoid something unpleasant — just like kids. It’s completely normal. That’s why on the first visits I focus mainly on helping the puppy build a positive relationship with the salon.

His owner came in saying: “Please, finally make him look like a doodle.” Poodle crosses can be very different — so grooming time and price vary too.

Her coat was matted, so it had to go shorter. No problem, it grows back — the dog’s comfort matters most. Now we see each other every 6 weeks and Dixie can keep her fluffy legs.
Sped up
A whole visit in a few seconds: bath, drying, brushing and haircut. In reality it takes about two hours — calmly, with no rush.

After a bad experience with our previous salon, I spent a long time looking for a place where our Sofi would feel safe and I could be at ease. I couldn’t have found a better one… Sylwia is incredibly kind and smiley, and from the first moment you can tell she truly loves dogs.
We come here regularly with our two Australian Shepherds and are very happy. Sylwia has a really lovely, calm way with dogs, so they always leave relaxed and stress-free. They smell great and stay clean surprisingly long.
Professional approach and precise work. In two hours Silvia gave our dog an amazing makeover — we barely recognised him. After a bad experience at another salon we were worried, but there was no need at all.
Today was our first visit. She asked me to stay for a moment so my dog wouldn’t be stressed and we could see how he’d react. Once everything was fine, I could leave with peace of mind. A beautifully fluffy teddy bear was waiting for me.
We’re regulars, and both our little Yorkie and I are absolutely happy. Sylwia is a ray of sunshine. Professional grooming and approach — she can turn a furball into a gentleman.
We came for the first time for a full groom of our Samoyed and we’re thrilled. She kept us updated the whole time on how our girl was doing. The salon is very cosy; she was beautifully groomed, smelled lovely and looked happy.
Our first full groom with our Australian Shepherd. I was really worried and had no idea how he’d react. But Sylwia was incredibly kind, and even though there were problems at first, she handled it. We booked the next visit straight away.
Sylwia was perfect! It was Bessy’s first time at a salon, a real premiere for us. Bessy is shy, so she let me stay. I needn’t have worried — Bessy did brilliantly!
Today I visited this salon with my dog for the first time and I’m thrilled. He looks like a new dog — beautifully groomed, smelling lovely, and you can tell he was in good hands.
Thank you so much for looking after our Westie. We’ve been coming to Sylwia for a while and are very happy. Very kind and great with dogs. Highly recommend.

10 — Your visit
Five steps from booking to pick-up.
Online or by phone. A deposit confirms the slot and is deducted from the price.
Walk your dog and don’t feed them right before the visit.
We’ll choose the cut based on coat type and how often you come.
Your dog stays with me on their own — it’s quicker and calmer. I disinfect and sterilise my tools after every visit.
I’ll let you know when your dog is ready. Please share any feedback right there.
11 — Before you come
Dogs stay in the salon without their owners — grooming is shorter and less stressful. A shy dog’s first visit can be an exception; we’ll agree on it.
I only accept healthy dogs with a valid rabies vaccination and no visible skin problems. If fleas turn up during grooming, the service stops and I charge 300 Kč to disinfect the salon.
For safety reasons I don’t accept aggressive dogs. If aggression appears during grooming, I stop and charge a proportional part of the price. Nervous and shy dogs are very welcome — the first visits are mostly about getting used to it.
Happy to try — but a dog online may not have the same coat type as yours, so we’ll agree in person. Longer coats mat faster, so if you come less often I recommend a shorter cut.
Please arrive on time — if you’re more than 15 minutes late I may shorten, change or cancel the visit. Please pick your dog up on time; if you’re more than 30 minutes late I charge 200 Kč.
Please share any concerns before leaving the salon. Complaints can be made within 12 hours of the visit — in person or by phone. If a complaint is justified, we’ll agree on compensation individually.
By visiting, you agree to photos of your dog being taken and shared. If you’d rather not, please let me know in advance.
